MENTAL HEALTH
1-in-3 First Responders will face a mental crisis at some point in or after their career.
First responders are usually the first on the scene to face challenging, dangerous, and draining situations. It is estimated that 30 percent of first responders develop behavioral health conditions including, but not limited to, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)*. We hope to partner with organizations whose sole goal is to support those who support us every day.
We encourage you to reach out when you need help. TalkSpace is just one example of an online provider of mental healthcare that offers comprehensive treatment plans on your schedule when you need it most.
We offer specific financial literacy programs such as Frontline Financials which seeks to increase your department's knowledge base and help to alleviate any financially-induced stress in your life and those of your fellow service members.
Department-Level Support
Utilizing the power of Special Pay and HRA Plans, your department can leverage your benefits and free up your funds for what you need most.
